World Wide Web Personnel Directory Policy

There are really two versions of the WWW Personnel Directory:

The Caltech On-Campus Directory

This version is the one available only to people at Caltech. It has all of the information that is in the printed version of the Directory, including home information (which is only included if a person indicates they want it there).

The Off-Campus Directory

There are only entries in the Off-Campus version of the directory for those users who checked the appropriate box on the new Personnel information form. Furthermore, none of the information about your home or the location of your office is given to off-campus users under any circumstances. So, your campus information is only there if you want it to be, and your home information and office location is never there. If you are on campus, you can check to see what off campus users see by clicking the "Show Off-Campus Version" link at the bottom of an individual person's listing.
